The Noir Series by Aaron Gilbert Arnold

     I’m very happy to present my Noir Series of mixed  media artwork on canvas and paper. To create my work I use a variety of materials including acrylic markers, paint pens, and a pencil. I carefully select my materials for each piece depending on the concept and imagery needed to fulfill my vision.      I created the Noir Series purposely in black and white to create a mood of hopeful mysticism. Aaron is granted with an artistic mind which took 4 decades to fully blossom. "All I had was Art, isolation, and spiritual introspection for much of my adult life", he states. Aaron Gilbert Arnold was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1979. Both of his parents are artists. As a child, Aaron developed a strong intuition due to learning disabilities and dyslexia.
